Nick Palmer - Bass

Nicholas Rogers Palmer is the love child of Lady Cynthia Tunnycliffe-Smythe-Fish-Rabbit-Warren-Carving-Knife-Forbes-Love-Pump and her wrinkled retainer  Rogers.  

Nick was sent away to a special School for the Bewildered at first opportunity and from there dispatched to the colonies posthaste, thus averting any nastiness at Lady Cynthia’s famous Stunt Croquet and Surprise Tombola gatherings which were so popular with the local farm hands.

Upon arrival in Australia, Nick discovered he had a thespian bent, but after several months of therapy and reconstruction, took up the accordion instead.  Thus he entered the Wilderness Years - a time of fruitless wandering and abject rejection as he tried desperately, yet so incompetently, to find an audience for his bizarre fumblings on his squeeze-box.

Finally, in a rare moment of lucidity, Nick decided to become a musician instead and on one of his day-release outings fell in with Men Wot Sing who immediately welcomed him as a fellow traveller and feckless blunderer.
