Alan Hill - Bass
Alan was born and brought up in the land of Pom and from an early age he knew that one day greatness would be thrust upon him. He just didn't know how or when.
Over the years he tried his hand at many different jobs - from delivering wedding cakes (of which only a few survived) to being a test pilot for Airfix. Throughout all this, he never lost sight of his dream of becoming a jockey, but alas, after many futile attempts, he eventually had to accept that there wasn't much call for 6ft 5ins jockies in pomland or elseware for that matter.
Leaving his shattered dreams behind, Alan strode loftily into his new career as a professional pallbearer but soon found that being so tall meant he had to stoop all the time to get the coffin through the church door, and this resulted in little more than a bad back, so after much soul searching he decided to find fame and fortune in Australia.
Five years later he is still looking but thanks to Men Wot Sing he's now in with a real chance. The boys from Men Wot Sing have taken him under their wing and shown him great friendship and in so doing, have transformed this once wretched, miserable man from the Land of Pom, into the second happiest man in Alstonville.
