Farewell Johnnie Howard
For several years we had an old miners' protest song called "Johnnie Miner", and it was quite pleasant to listen to...but that was about all! It only scraped through as a 3 star song!
However...due to our current political situation in Australia, where we have a prime minister called John Howard, we realised it was too good to be true. This was a gift calling out to us...we just had to do it! We re-wrote the lyrics and threw one or two babies overboard and before you know it...a 5 star song!
In a shameless attempt to cash in on Australia's current political landscape, we recorded the song, created our first film-clip, (spared no expense!) and sent it to as many people as we possibly could!
And the next thing we knew...we were superstars! Woohoo
